S&T Croatia implements SAP at Magma d.d.

The solution installed by S&T includes the implementation of modules for finance and cash management, controlling, travel management, administration of human resources documents, salary and wages accounting, and the purchasing and supply of non-commercial articles. “The implementation of the SAP solution is an important step for Magma d.d., not only because of the resulting higher quality and the forward-looking administration of the accounting processes, planning and budgeting, but also because the SAP system will improve efficiency and transparency in the business,” states Višnja Lovrek, a member of the Executive Board und Head of Business Process Development at Magma d.d., with regard to the successful completion of the project.
With the new solution, Magma has eliminated the data redundancy that previously existed and now no longer needs to enter the same data repeatedly in various sub-systems. This results in shorter processing times and an increase in data quality, both factors which are of considerable importance in management-level strategic and operational decision making. The system is also flexible and can be adapted to new organizational and business requirements, and allows implementation of new sub-systems without disturbing day-to-day operations. Not least, it will now be much easier to integrate Magma subsidiaries. “We are very pleased to have the privilege of providing support to Magma, a new and important client in Croatia. Our local experts, who carried out the project on time and on budget, took particular care to ensure that the quality of the solution delivered also matched Magma’s expectations in terms of the benefits it provided,” explains Christian Rosner, CEO S&T.
